I have had a go at candle making a while ago and enjoyed it. So when Refill your candles got in touch with me I jumped at the chance to have another go at it.

It is such a great idea to refill your candles as I have bought so many over the years and to refill those is great.

I will show you first of all what you get when you order from them. You get a measuring jug, stick, your wicks and glue dots, small container to measure out your scents, three different scents and of course the wax. They all come in a lovely cloth bag.

I had a special little glass container that my sister gave me with a candle in so I used that for my candle.

You heat up the wax in the measuring jug for 3-4 minutes in the microwave or you can on a hob over some boiling water in a pan. Personally the microwave is a much quicker and easier for me. Then put your glue dot on the bottom of your container and add your wick to it. Get your wax and add your scent to it stirring it and let it go a little cooler. Then pour in your wax into your container and leave for at least 6 hours or overnight.

When your wax is set. You can trim the wick down ready to use.

Then of course light your candle and enjoy it. I will be making many more of these candles now.

This would make such a great gift for someone too. The instructions are in the bag and it makes it so simple. Looks really good quality and I am sure anyone getting this for a Xmas gift would be delighted.
