I love the traditional feel of wooden toys. They are really something to treasure and an heirloom.

I recently found Jaques of London which is full of traditional quality wooden toys.

I have to tell you about this packaging because it is beautiful! As you can see from the images a beautiful box wrapped with a ribbon.

This would make such a wonderful gift and looks like something that is so special. When you open the gift the tissue paper is exquisite and the hand written note to say thank you is such a nice touch which I love!

The Chess Set I ordered is such good quality and they pieces are all individually slotted into the base of it as it is a folding set. This is perfect for us as it is all put away nicely after each time using it.

My son is a teenager and has always played chess and this set will be our much loved and treasured one.

I will definitely be ordering from Jacques of London again anytime I want good quality wooden toys.
