My review

The first chapter of this book made me hooked! It is so well written and in such a way that you really want to keep reading more and more.

Smoke and Mispers is set in modern day London. It is the second book in the Hingston series.

In this book DS Hingston has his evening interrupted when he is unable to prevent the death of a teenager who is choking. Things get worse as a child goes missing and there is a link between the girls.

This can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading them both. I liked how the policing element wasnt too complicated like some other mysteries, but enough so you understand what is going on.

Overall I really enjoyed it.
