Welcome everyone to confessions of a bookworm. A little bit about me, my name is Diane and I have always been an avid bookworm. Since being a young child I have always enjoyed reading so it made sense that I created a blog to write about my books and reviews.

My taste in reading has changed over the years and whereas I was choosy about what I read years ago, now I will embrace all sorts of genres of books. 

I still have my favourite books that are classics and I will write a blog post dedicated to that very soon.  But now I will read classics, psychological thrillers, romance, non-fiction, manga, Fantasy, chick lit etc.  Yes, there are a lot of genres I read now!

This year so far, I have read 26 books, which I track on goodreads.  Goodreads is a great way to track what books you have read, and you can review them and give start ratings on there too.

I have also joined Instagram for my book account which can be found here if you wish to follow me.  So far, I am loving the book community.  They are so supportive, and I have found some good friends on there.  I especially like the fact that authors are on Instagram and take the time to interact with their readers.
