A middle-class family is murdered in a quiet affluent suburb, with the killer leaving a bizarre calling-card. Within days, more murders are discovered across the country with the same bizarre calling-card left behind. With no apparent link between the victims, Detective Sergeant Steve Denton and his colleagues must uncover the motive and stop the killer before they strike again.

Stood in Denton’s way is a criminal known only as The Broker, who is being offered millions to keep the body count rising, and to keep the police guessing.

My review

I have already reviewed one of this Author’s book called Deadline which I also loved!

I was lucky enough to be given a pre-production copy of this book by the Author which I feel highly honoured to have.

I loved getting to know all the characters and there were quite a few of them but wasn’t complicated to keep up with them all. As soon as there was a lull in the story bam! something else would happen to make me shocked again. I was totally blown away by the story. I loved the character development and the detail that went into it was articulate.

Absolutely fabulous and kept me guessing right up until the end! As soon as I thought I had it figured out something else would happen to make me realise I was wrong. A very clever story and writing to do that.
