If I Cant Have You by Charlotte Levin – Book review

Synopsis

If I Can’t Have You by Charlotte Levin is an all-consuming novel about loneliness, obsession and how far we go for the ones we love.

My name is Constance Little.
This is my love story.
But this isn’t the way it was supposed to end.

After fleeing Manchester for London, Constance attempts to put past tragedies behind her and make a fresh start. When she embarks on a relationship with the new doctor at the medical practice where she works, she’s convinced she’s finally found the love and security she craves.

Then he ends it.

But if life has taught her anything, it’s that if you love someone, you should never let them go.

That’s why for Constance Little, her obsession is only just beginning . . .

My review

Constance is a GP secretary and when the new Doctor starts, she becomes infatuated with him.

I think we can all relate to Constance in some way. This book has to be one of my favourites I have ever read!

We have all had an encounter with a ‘nice guy’ at some point in our lives that tell us one thing and do another. The ending really shocked me. I was rooting for Constance the entire way through this book. I also loved her relationship with Edward. This book will stay with me forever.

Some parts made me laugh so much and others made me angry and sad. Yes, all the emotions with this book. I will be recommending this book to everyone!
