About the Author
Zoe Rosi is the author of eight novels. Her first six are romantic comedies, at which point she rebelled against the genre and penned a thriller about a vigilante serial killer of predatory men.
This novel, Pretty Evil, is heavily inspired by American Psycho and features a sociopathic murderer called Camilla Black, who is as stylish as she is vengeful, juggling a day job as a fashion magazine editor with her darker pursuits.
Pretty Evil was first published in 2020, at the height of MeToo, under the title ‘Predator’. It has been praised in the press, being described as ‘an erotic murder thriller for the MeToo generation… a must-read’ by the Daily Express and as ‘the ultimate revenge story’ by The Independent.
Someone’s Watching Me is Zoe’s second thriller. In January 2024, her third psychological thriller, a novella called Courier was published. Courier is about a creepy courier called Bob who becomes obsessed with a woman on his delivery route.

Chilling Thrills in “Courier”
Recently, I stumbled upon a thrilling recommendation on Twitter. Ironically, I was already knee-deep in another book, promising myself to not start anything new. But, curiosity won and I found myself downloading “Courier”.
A Deep Dive into Darkness
From the first page, the story gripped me. This book revolves around Bob, a courier who gets obsessed with someone. The character development of Bob is intricate and compelling, drawing the reader into his sinister world. His charming yet deceptive persona makes you question every twist the story takes.
As the plot unfolded, eerie scenes seamlessly woven into the narrative had me on edge. One evening, I made the classic horror fan mistake of reading it just before bed. The chilling sequences not only haunted my sleep but also left me pressing on to see what happened next—a true page-turner!
The brilliance of the author’s writing added layers to the thriller. Every chapter, meticulously crafted, built up to a finale that was both shocking and satisfying. The unexpected twist towards the end was a testament to the author’s prowess in storytelling.
A New Favorite Author
So enamored by the narrative style and the intense storyline, I am now on a mission to devour all books by this author. Her ability to blend thrill and horror not only captivates but also leaves a lingering impact.
