Durdle Door  This geographical wonder is possibly one of Dorset’s most iconic and well-known attractions.  It is a massive rock archway that sits above the sea.  Durdle Door was created by erosion 140 million years ago.  It is part of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast which is a World Heritage Site which is famous for geographical sites such as Durdle Door, fossils and other amazing finds. 

2. Watch A Movie on A Castle Dorset’s outdoor cinema at Lulworth Castle is one of the coolest cinema experiences ever.  Classic movies are projected onto a big screen on a 17^th century stone castle.   

3. The Jurassic Coast The Jurassic Coast is a completely unique coastline.  It is a 95 mile stretch of coastline from East Devon to Dorset.  Where you will find fossils and unusual rock formations.  You can rent a kayak or book onto a kayaking tour.  Depending on availability of course. 

4. Dorset Gin Distillery Conker Spirit was the first Dorset gin distillery in Dorset established in 2014.  There is even a Gin Festival too, hopefully it will all still go ahead. 

5. Enid Blyton Memories  If like me you grew up reading Enid Blyton this will excite you! The author of Noddy, The Famous Five and so many more spent her life having many holidays in Dorset and she adored it.  She loved it so much, so she used many of the local landscapes as inspirations for scenes in her novels.
