I was chosen to read an advance copy of The Secret Seaside Escape by Heidi Swain by Netgalley. I absolutely love all of Heidi Swain’s books that I have read, but I must admit I think this one is the best one yet!

The Secret Seaside Escape is the perfect read this summer, promising sandy beaches, stunning rockpools and breath-taking romance. Perfect for fans of Carole Matthews and Sarah Morgan.

As someone that also lives in Norfolk, where this book was based around I loved imagining where Wynmouth was inspired by. In my mind I could see Wells Next The Sea, which is my absolute favourite beach. The beach huts and the setting reminded me of Wells so much, where I also went growing up as a child for holidays.

One particular sentence which I loved was ‘You have to have lived here for seven generations to be considered a local. At least!’ This made me laugh out loud, while I was reading this on the bus actually lol It is something that my Mum also from Norfolk and lived here all her life says.

I cannot say enough good things about this book! I think you should all go out and pre-order it or buy it as soon as it is released, you wont be sorry.

I am very much looking forward to see what book Heidi Swain releases next, as I will be first in the queue for it!
