This year has by no means been a normal time at all! If you have tried dating this year and find your special someone then it has been challenging.  With all the new restrictions of lockdown and coronavirus rules it has not been the best time to meet someone.  How do you think 2021 will be for dating?   I personally think unless we have a vaccine then we will not be allowed to go back to normal, if any of us can remember what normal is now! So, I have put down a few ideas for dating in 2021 and all we can do is see how things work out in the new year. 

Online Dating

Online dating will be the way forward, I believe for meeting anyone in the future.  Apart from someone you might bump into (not literally!) With online dating there are so many choices of websites you can choose from.  You can be any age to go onto an online dating website, no discrimination.  There are local dating websites which is great if you want to meet someone close in distance to you.  These can be great if you are from any area such as dating agency Kent. If you are chatting online, then lockdown gives you the perfect opportunity to really get to know the person before you potentially meet up for a socially distance date.  Dating locally for example to have a date in Kent is a big advantage if you do not want to travel a long way after the lockdown is over.    

Virtual Dates

A virtual date is a great idea if you want to take that next step to meeting the person that you have chatted to for a while.  This could be over facetime, skype, zoom or however you please.  It would be fun to get to know someone and get dressed up for the occasion.  You could have an informal coffee or a try and share a meal together, virtually of course.  Your first date could be a virtual one which I think would be an amazing story to tell people in years to come if you decide to be in a relationship together. 

Netflix Party

You can also have fun watching a movie together and have a Netflix party online and watch the same movie and interact as you are watching it.  This is the next best thing to going to the cinema or the theatre at the moment.   

Virtual Museum Tours

If movies are not your thing and you prefer a museum visit, they are also online. You can have a virtual tour in a museum which could be one that is anywhere in the world, which is amazing!  

Meeting Up In Person

If the lockdown and tier system rules are relaxed, then you might have the chance to meet your date in a pub or coffee shop.  This would be a lovely way to get to know them face to face, especially if you have been chatting to them for a while.
