I am so excited to be part of this blog tour for Cheltenham Literature Festival. We were all asked to pick a category from and then we would be sent a mystery book from that category. Unfortunately due to numerous reasons my book has not arrived yet but I have been told it is Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell, which I am so excited to read! I will be fully reviewing the book once I have read it but here is a little about the festival and the book synopsis.

On a summer’s day in 1596, a young girl in Stratford-upon-Avon takes to her bed with a sudden fever. Her twin brother, Hamnet, searches everywhere for help. Why is nobody at home?
Their mother, Agnes, is over a mile away, in the garden where she grows medicinal herbs. Their father is working in London.
Neither parent knows that Hamnet will not survive the week.
