Claire Huston lives in Warwickshire, UK. She writes uplifting modern love stories about characters who are meant for each other but sometimes need help figuring that out.

My review
When the Author contacted me to see if I wanted to review this book, I knew I had to, as I have previously read both of her others and very much enjoyed them. Art and Soul and Elle’s A to Z of Love you can see my reviews for them on this blog.
We follow the story of Lucinda who is a chef and runs her own business and is fiercely independent. Then we have Alex who is an actor who is an up and coming actor. At the beginning of the story they get thrown together to deal with something. They are thrown together a few other times and then the story progresses.
I loved how this was slow burn romance and not instant romance! too many books I have read recently do this and it really seems forced. I also love the connection between the two of them and how it progresses. Something else unique about this book was that they are older in their 40’s which I loved! Most romances they are usually younger so I connected with them more because of this.
An absolute joy to read and I cannot wait to see what book Claire Huston releases next.
